Preschool Christmas Extravaganza!!

Saturday, December 5th at 10:00 A.M.

This year we will be having a great family event

in the Family Life Center.

We will begin at 10:00 am - we will have crafts, games, and lunch. 

This is an event for the whole family and is also a drop by event

so come any time between 10 o'clock and noon

and have fun with your whole family making crafts and food

and just having a good time celebrating Christmas together..

Children's Christmas Party

The children will having their party in AWANA this year.  We will be combining the party with the AWANA store. 

Then later that evening - during the regular service time,

the Children's choir will present their Christmas Musical, "The Great Gift Exchange". 

You won't want to miss it.

COME JOIN US IN AWANA EVERY SUNDAY EVENING @ FBC!!!

November 8th - Birthday Jamboree

November 29th - NO AWANA

December 13th - AWANA store/Christmas Party

You do not want your child to miss out on all the fun we have in AWANA every Sunday evening @ 4:30 and ending at 6:30.  The Sparks and TNT (1-6 grade) begin each night in the Sanctuary.  We have a great time learning God's Word, playing games, and eating a snack supper.  Get involved and earn points every week toward great prizes in AWANA!!

Parenting Helps

Parenting is tough.  James Dobson was right when he titled his book, Parenting Isn't for Cowards.  We need as much help as we can get.  Here are a few websites that I have found helpful and I hope that you will find them helpful as well.  If you have any websites that you use regularly, please pass them along to me so that I can check them out and maybe get them on here to help us all!

www.family.org - this is James Dobson's/Focus on the Famly website.

www.pluggedinonline.com for when you need to look up a movie, review its content and see if it is appropriate for your child or home.  The website also covers television shows, video games and other forms of media.

www.familylife.org - another Christian based family website with many articles on marriage, home and family.

www.familyfun.go.com - this website is filled with a lot of good rainy day activities for you and you family to do together.  Everyone from the parents of preschooler to parents of pre-teens can find activities, crafts and recipes to create a great family focused time in your home.
